CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS
I have been collecting Christmas Decorations since I was in my teens. The joy I get when I re-discover them each Christmas is wonderful. I mostly remember, where and when I purchased the decoration. It’s such a practical and joyful collection. I delight in a visual feast and warm memories for two to three months and then I put them away (hopefully before February) for next year.
Some of my most treasured decorations have been given to me from friends. They might not be the most spectacular or expensive but when Christmas time arrives memories are renewed. One of my first gifts was a cute, little angel, given to me when I lived in Millmerran. My little angel is a perpetual gift. She ’gives’ each year, every year. Thank you Carmel for the gift and thank you for waking me up to what perfect gifts Christmas Decorations make- any time of the year.
