FLORENCE BROADHURST
Florence Broadhurst was an eccentric Australian artist.
She was born at Mungy Satation, Mt Perry in Queensland in 1899.
Years ahead of her time, she traveled the world and worked in a variety of careers, before returning to Australia to start her internationally successful wall paper company.
Florence Broadhurst created, with her visionary use of textures, tones and materials classic, timeless patterns.
She created a unique and striking library of artwork, each referencing a different part of the world, and of her life.
